Apple Wins

There's been a lot of talk over the legal disputes between Apple and bloggers who leak Apple's secrets. Okay, so Steve Jobs is obviously extremely concerned about secrecy when it comes to Apple products, but a lawsuit? So now Apple wins. Is it just me or does the occasional leak seem to help them? After awhile of talk of Apple's skyrocketing success, people start getting a little paranoid and start saying the growth is short lived, etc. Then somebody leaks something, and Apple's all over the news again. Well, whatever the good judge says.

There's an interesting article comparing OS X Tiger and Longhorn over at Yahoo, too.

So does this mean bloggers are not journalists?

We're definately "journalists" (of a sort). I think Apple's just upset that people publish half-truths or let something leak when they're really excited about showing it off themselves, and I can see why. The other side is, if Apple's going to release something, we'll find out when they do. Maybe this will just help prevent future uncomfortable circumstances like this. I don't want it giving bloggers a bad name.
