GTA Rating Change

It's official, Grand Theft Auto is now AO. Hey, that's fine with me. If people are gonna load up their games with trash like that, nobody needs to be playing it—let alone kids. Parents, don't let your kids play this crap.

Plenty of people are mad about this one... No stores carry AO games, but the first one who does will do two things instantly.
1)Make a bundle
2)Lower the moral standards of this world even lower than they are now

I think it's foolish for people to say 'how did this miss the censors the first time?' the content is only unlockable via mod. If the ESRB took the time to scan every mod out there, they would never finish...

Also, am I the only one bothered by the fact that you can steal, stab, rape, shoot, blow up, purloin, and otherwise cause meyhem to your heart's content, but slap in a 2 minute bit of computer generated nudity, and you get banned from stores?

This is pathetic people!!! Why did the fact that you can kill hookers with screwdrivers not make anyone mad?

No kidding. It's pretty disturbing that people are being entertained by this trash by the millions. Whether or not the "Hot Coffee" mod was made by Rockstar, stuff like GTA just shouldn't be out there. If people spend hours shooting cops, stealing cars, sleeping around and more in a game, it's no wonder they're going out and doing it in real life. JoT had a good comic on it.

Yahoo! I'm very excited the ESRB is stickin' it to 'em. About time!

I find it funny how stuff like porn is called "Adult Entertainment."
Like they're implying it's for mature people or something.

Yeah really. "Adult material" is smut regardless if you're 13 or 23.
